Dr. Stroud is a board-certified dermatologist with special interests in skin cancer prevention, acne, rosacea, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
He earned his medical doctorate from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and performed his internship at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Stroud completed his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he served as Chief Resident at the VA Medical Center and Harris County hospital system. While in Houston, Dr. Stroud completed several rotations in pediatric dermatology at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Stroud is an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society member and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also belongs to the Collin County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and Texas Dermatological Society.
Continuing education is important to Dr. Stroud, who has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at some of the top academic institutions in Texas.
Dr. Stroud’s wife grew up in McKinney, and he is very excited about being close to family and serving the McKinney community.
