my regular GP was unavailable, so Dr. Sanchez worked me in. He was just great.

This was one of the worst experiences I\'ve had with a doctor. When I scheduled the appointment I was told on the phone my appointment was Tuesday so I took off work and showed up for my appointment only to find out they had actually scheduled it for Wednesday. The wait time was long when I came back for the appointment on Wednesday. I went in for a wellness checkup only. I just had a baby a couple of months ago so I mentioned that I was working on losing the baby weight. Dr. Sanchez ended up making me feel like a horrible mother for the way I\'m choosing to feed my baby and made me feel fat. Ive never been overweight in my life, I just have 15 more pounds to go to get back to my pre-baby weight and I had even lost weight since my last appointment. But he made me feel like all of my work was worthless. I also did not appreciate his input on how I\'m choosing to feed my baby. He is not my PCP, or my pediatrician and I didn\'t ask for his opinion. I only saw him because my PCP was booked, but I will not be going back to him again.

He genuinely cares about his patients and wants to make a difference. He addressed all my needs and concerns, and made me feel knowledgeable about what was going on with my body. I feel like I can trust my provider for the very first time in looking out for my best interest.

I was asked if an intern observing would be ok and I said yes. The intern actually diagnosed the my case but when the doctor arrived his diagnosis was not the same as the intern. A bit of discomfort for me and I imagine the intern.

Nice guy. But very opinionated (and not just about the the health issue at hand )and just a touch of arrogance. I decided to make a change in primary care provider after the appointment. Two primary reasons. Did not check my vitals (blood pressure was high when nurse checked it) and did not even pull out the stethoscope. Has not given me a complete physical in the last two years. Maybe I\'m just not up to date on how these things work these days. He wanted to set up a return visit for 30 days to monitor my weight, which I felt was too short a time interval to really expect any progress. But, as I said, a nice enough guy. Seems smart enough but just not a good fit for me.
