Dr. Benjamin was born and raised in Lubbock, TX. She attended Texas Tech University and graduated with honors with a degree in biology. Dr. Benjamin remained in Lubbock to obtain her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
After deciding to dedicate her career to OB/Gyn, she did her residency at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, in Dallas, TX. She was elected to the position of Administrative Chief Resident.
During her time as a resident, she was awarded the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology award by her peers at the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly and also the distinguished Joseph Warren award.
Dr. Benjamin met her husband, an internal medicine physician in Frisco, during high school. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends and traveling the world together.
