Ashtin Sackett: Advanced bone cancer treatment saved my arm.

Ashtin Sackett experienced increasing pain in her upper left arm. When an X-ray revealed a large mass, her physician referred her to The Complex Joint and Musculoskeletal Tumors Program at her local Baylor Medical Center, which provides advanced care for bone disease. At Baylor, Ashtin was diagnosed with Stage 3 osteosarcoma, a cancerous bone tumor. After five months of aggressive chemotherapy, Ashtin returned to Baylor for advanced bone graft surgery. She then underwent another five months of chemo, and has been cancer free for two years. ?Baylor was amazing. The staff was wonderful. Thanks to Baylor, I survived bone cancer, and I have a functioning arm again.
