Project SEARCH is a school-to-work program designed for high school students with disabilities offered in cooperation between Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station, College Station Independent School District, Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living (BVCIL), MHMR Authority of Brazos Valley, Region 6 Education Service Center and Junction 505.

Project SEARCH, an international program, will place students in internships at the hospital and promote employment for students with disabilities.

Students will participate in three internships to explore a variety of career paths over the course of one school year. The students work with a team that includes their family, a special education teacher and rehabilitation services to create an employment goal and support the student during this important transition from school to work.
