Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station is proud to unveil the region’s newest full-service Cancer Center, eliminating the need to travel elsewhere for the complete, personalized care and robust support patients need on their journey from cancer patient to cancer survivor.

Backed by the resources of Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas’ largest not-for-profit healthcare system, Baylor Scott & White – College Station’s new multi-million dollar Cancer Center offers:

For years, patients in the Bryan-College Station/Brenham area have journeyed far from family and support to receive necessary care. The new Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center – College Station is changing all that by offering quality, comprehensive cancer care close to home for a wide range of cancers.


Types of Cancer Treatment


Surgery: Experienced surgeons on the medical staff are skilled at removing cancerous tumors from organs and tissue, as well as functional repair and aesthetic repair (plastic surgery) of damaged structures, including breast reconstruction.

Chemotherapy/Medical Therapy: Choose a private or group space for infusion treatments in a serene setting that looks out over a peaceful garden with a waterfall.

Radiation Therapy: Home to the newest radiation therapy technology in the region, our advanced radiation delivery system offers enhanced safety features, improved accuracy and reduced treatment times.

Clinical Trials: As part of one of the 10 largest healthcare systems in the nation, we can connect patients in need with some of the world’s most promising clinical trials for a number of different types of cancer.

Patient Navigators

Our Patient Navigation Program exists to guide patients and their families through the often complex journey and decisions associated with treating cancer. Our patient navigator handles logistical and administrative details large and small, allowing patients and families to focus on healing.

Our patient navigator is available to patients after an initial biopsy and can help:

  • - Provide education and answer questions about the cancer care process and what to expect
  • - Coordinate appointments with various specialists and departments
  • - Obtain/assist with referrals for additional evaluations and appointments
  • - Gather medical records
  • - Assist with access to clinical trials or referrals to other programs/facilities
  • - Provide information on support groups and programs

In addition to patient navigation, the new Cancer Center also features a financial counselor to assist families.

Dining Options


The cafeteria is located on the first floor to the right of the main entrance and features a full range of food and beverage items.

Monday-Friday: 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 6:30-10 a.m.; 11 a.m-2 p.m.

Vending Machines

Vending machines with snacks and sodas are located just by labor and delivery and in the emergency department lobby and are available 24 hours a day.

Support Services

Besides advanced surgical and medical therapies to treat cancer and prevent its return, the new Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center – College Station offers a host of complimentary services to enhance care and the overall patient and family experience.  

Nutrition counseling: find the right diet vital to overall health and gaining the energy necessary for the fight against cancer.

Palliative care:  complementary treatments to alleviate pain and control symptoms, and provide guidance for those with late-stage disease.

Genetic counseling: familial cancer risk assessments, helping patients and their families form a plan of action for cancer screening and monitoring.

The new Cancer Center also features a special boutique with support products for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Patients can find specialized skin products for use throughout their treatment, head covers, prosthesis for breast cancer patients and much more. Family members also can find uplifting gifts at the boutique.

Gift Shop

The gift shop is located on the first floor next to the cafeteria.

The shop sells flowers available (free delivery), inspirational gifts, baby items, everyday items, lotions, candles, free gift wrapping, snacks and soft drinks

Accepts cash and/or credit cards.

Concierge and Information Desk

The visitor information/concierge desk are located on the first floor on your left hand side when you walk into the main entrance of the hospital. Our staff can assist you with general information, maps, notary public services and local eateries/hotel listings.

Monday-Friday: 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Patient Greetings

Brighten the day of a patient with an eGreeting — a personal message hand-delivered to your loved one.

Visitor Lounges

There are designated lounges for visitors on patient floors. Specific areas have been designated for guests in other areas. If you are in a large group, we ask for your consideration of other patients’ families when seating is limited. Wireless laptops can be used in most areas by connecting to our visitor wireless network. Charging stations and outlets are also available in select lounge areas.

The use of wireless communication devices, such as cell phones, notebooks and laptops, can interfere with medical equipment and is restricted in all patient care areas. Please restrict your use of these devices to visitor lounges and non-patient care areas.


An automated teller machines (ATM) is available on the first floor in the cafeteria.

Spiritual Care

Our chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital between the main entrance and ER and is open 24 hours/7 days a week.

Chaplains are available during normal business hours Monday through Friday. You may call us or use the TV in the patient's room to contact the chaplain.

Visiting Hours

Visits from relatives and friends can play an important part in your recovery; however, they can also be tiring. It is in your best interest that you get all of the rest that you can while in the hospital. If you feel uncomfortable asking people to limit their visits, you might ask a family member or friend to coordinate your visits for you. We do have some requests of our visitors:

  • Open visitation hours - 24/7, after 8 p.m. enter through the ER doors.
  • Try to keep visits brief and to only two people at any given time.
  • Please have an adult accompany any children under 12 and do not leave them unattended.
  • Wash your hands before and after your visit so you don't spread germs to the patient.
  • If you have a cold, flu, or other contagious disease please wait until you are well for your visit.
  • Please be respectful of other patients and keep noise to a minimum.
  • If you want to bring food to a patient, please check with the nursing staff. Some diets are restricted.
  • Visitors may not smoke on campus.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.​​

Insurance Accepted

Baylor Scott & White has established agreements with several types of insurances in an effort to make sure your health needs are covered.

To verify whether your insurance plan covers services rendered at Baylor Scott & White Health, contact your insurance provider directly by visiting your provider's website or calling the phone number listed on your insurance identification card.

Medical Records

You can request copies of your medical records by completing an Authorization for Release of Information form and returning to the facility at which you received care.

Prescription Refills

The Baylor Scott & White Pharmacy #278 is conveniently located on the 1st floor by the gift shop.

Brain and spinal cord cancer

Endocrine cancer

Endocrine cancer is when cancer is found in the endocrine system, which includes thyroid, adrenal, pancreas, parathyroid, and pituitary glands.

Digestive cancer

Digestive cancer starts when the cells in the stomach begin to grow abnormally. Stomach cancer is also referred to as gastric cancer. The most common form of stomach cancer is adenocarcinoma. Lymphomas, gastrointestinal stromal tumors and carcinoid tumors are other forms of stomach cancer.

Healing Environment

The new Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center – College Station was designed and built to optimize the care experience for cancer patients and their loved ones. The architecture and layout were planned to ease the flow of patients from one area or unit to the next.

A beautiful healing garden with a waterfall is the focal point of our infusion center for chemotherapy. The infusion center also allows patients to receive therapy in the company of other cancer patients or in a private setting if desired.

In our radiation oncology unit, patients receive radiation therapy from an advanced linear accelerator that has features designed to deliver a more comfortable therapeutic experience.

The goal of the new Cancer Center is to be a place where patients want to go to heal.
