For patients who do not have insurance coverage, our hospital offers assistance in identifying alternative funding and payment options. Our hospital staff will work with you to identify the options available to you, based on government and hospital rules and regulations.
Eligibility and Enrollment
Eligibility and Enrollment Services is a hospital service provided to you at no cost. There are government programs to assist qualifying patients who are under 21 or over 65 years old, have children in the household, are pregnant, potentially disabled, or have been a victim of a crime. Please note that some of these programs may require that you provide detailed information and supporting documentation as part of the application process.
Programs Which May Help Cover Medical Expenses for Qualified Patients:
- County Indigent Care Programs
- Temporary Assistance for needy Families
- Social Security Disability
- Supplemental Security Income
- Fund for Victims of Violent Crime
- Affordable Care Act Qualified Health Plans/Premium Assistance
Charity Care Program – Financial Assistance
Charity Care is available to patients who do not have the means to pay for hospital expenses and do not qualify for any government or other programs to cover their medical expenses. You may qualify for hospital financial assistance if your household income is below 200% of the federal poverty limit, or if your income is 200%-500% FPL and you are unable to pay outstanding medical bills. To be considered for financial assistance, you will be required to provide information on your household finances through a confidential Financial Application. Documentation will be requested to verify your circumstances in order to determine and confirm your eligibility.

Uninsured patients may be eligible for uninsured discounts, or for payment plans to help with payment for care. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
