Emergency Care for Kids
Going to the hospital is scary enough for adults, much less children. That's why we have a special child-friendly waiting area just for kids, as well as an emergency room decorated with a sea life theme, so they can think more about fish and shells than bumps and bruises.
Close By and Never Closed
We understand that time is critical in any emergency, which means our convenient location can be a true lifesaver in itself. Our emergency department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for patients in the Frisco area and neighboring communities. Day or night, you never have to drive far for the high level of emergency care you expect and deserve.
We have 12 privacy beds for patients with less acute conditions, as well as nine dedicated treatment rooms for patients with more serious conditions, including a dedicated trauma room. All patients have a private television, necessary monitoring equipment and seating for a family member at the bedside.
The Experts Are Here to Care for You
The skilled nurses and board-certified emergency medicine physicians on the medical staff make a point to see that patients are treated appropriately and promptly. It's also a priority for us to keep patients and family members informed during these moments of crisis. And if the need arises, everything we need to care for you and your family, from comprehensive imaging to lab and support services, is available at Baylor Scott & White – Centennial.
