Strategies and Treatment
At Baylor Scott & White – Centennial, we use a specialized exercise approach to improve neurocognitive and physical impairments associated with post-concussive disorders. Post-concussion assessments include cervicovestibular testing, balance and fall risk analysis, cognitive impairment, and ear canal testing to establish a baseline performance and determine appropriate treatment for successful outcomes. The therapists can work with neurologists, orthopedic sports medicine and primary care physicians to develop a comprehensive, individualized program for each person based on assessment and evaluation.
