About Your Appointment

On your first visit, we will begin a permanent record. Please bring any medications you are taking, so that we may accurately determine the dosage and frequency. We will ask you to complete a medical history and registration form.

Please bring your insurance card and try to arrive at least thirty minutes early for your first visit. If you have been under the care of another doctor, we may ask your permission to transfer some of your records.

We have three appointment categories that take up varying amounts of time:

  • Annual Exams or New Patient Visits: Plan on spending one hour including check-in time, filling out forms, and the actual physician visit
  • Follow-up Exams: 15 minutes
  • Sick Visits: Varies depending on the illness, but plan on at least thirty minutes

No Show Policy

  • 1st No Show - You will be notified of your missed appointment.
  • 2nd No Show - There will be $25 fee for your missed appointment which is not billable to insurance and will be due at the next office visit.
  • 3rd No Show - You may be dismissed from the practice.

You will be notified of your appointment date and time via an automated system two days prior to your visit. You will have the option to select "no" if you wish to cancel your appointment. If you are unable to make your appointment, please contact our office immediately so we may offer another patient that time.

Allergy Testing and Treatment

Allergies are problems of the immune system. An allergen is anything that causes the body's immune system to release histamine, one of the chemicals that cause allergy symptoms.

Most allergic reactions happen when the immune system reacts to a false alarm. Normally, the body defends itself against harmful things, such as viruses or bacteria. But the defenses also attack mild things, such as dust, mold, pollen and other environmental triggers at various times of the year, depending on your sensitivities.

We now offer allergy testing at our clinic. Please see our allergy testing & treatment FAQs below for more information.
