Registration/ Access Services

 

DESCRIPTION:

Greet Guest, copy information, assemble packets, and escorts patients to the departments. Maintains waiting area and coffee bar.

Guest Relations

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Greeting, assisting, and aiding patients, families, and visitors. Escort all patients and visitors to their desired destination. Delivery of goods to patient rooms, assembles packets.

Surgery Waiting Lounges

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Welcome guests, escort families to patient room, act as liaison between patient care staff and families, answer phones, transfer calls, communicate with family member, maintain coffee bar and waiting room, provide/check-out locker keys, newspaper activities, etc. Must have basic computer and phone skills.

Pet Therapy

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Escort the animal therapy dogs and their owners as they make rounds to patients, team members, and waiting rooms

Chaplain

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Visit patients per assignment given by chaplain, Identify patients that need follow-up visit by chaplain.

Gift Shop Cashier

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Greet every customer that comes into the shop, Assist customers with purchases, ring up sales using the cash register and the credit card machine as appropriate. Keep the shop neat and clean, water flowers in the cooler daily, Take phone orders, Record Sales at the end of each shift.

Patient Ambassador

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Visit each newly admitted patient, visit patients as requested to ensure they have a positive experience, serve as liaison between the patient and the hospital team members to handle minor issues for the patient, accurately document the number of patients visited

DESCRIPTION:

Greet and escort all patients and visitors to their desired destination, assist with discharging patients, restock patient rooms and supplies as appropriate, assist with making clean bed.
