College Volunteer Program

Volunteer Program is currently on hold

Thank you for your interest in our volunteer initiatives. Please be aware that, due to the COVID-19 crisis, our programs for adult, college and junior volunteers have all been suspended until further notice. When our system determines it is safe to resume, we will update this notice and proceed with reviewing any applications that have been submitted. Volunteer service is incredibly valuable to our facility, and we look forward to reopening the program when able.

We enjoy working with students and appreciate the opportunity to expose students to the healthcare sector. Volunteering in a medical center is unlike any other volunteer opportunity. Because we are a health system offering  many health services, our customers expect professional healing, nurturing, caring, maturity and privacy – challenges that at times can be difficult.

The Fall and Spring semester is dedicated to our College Volunteer Program. Responsibilities vary. Enrollment is limited to 30 volunteers per semester.
