Baylor Scott & White Roney Bone and Joint Institute’s Hand Clinic treats diseases and injuries that cause pain and impair the strength, function and flexibility of hands, wrists and fingers. We treat:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Dupuytren’s contracture (a disabling hand disorder in which thick, scar-like tissue bands form within the palm and may extend into the fingers)
  • Other problems including complex total elbow replacement

The Institute also offers an extensive hand therapy program where specially trained occupational therapists help hand surgery patients regain strength and range of motion.​

Foot and Ankle Care

Many Central Texans experience foot and ankle problems ranging from sprains. Our foot and ankle specialists treat:

The team also includes physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists focused on providing personalized treatment programs to help you achieve your highest level of wellness possible.

Pediatric Orthopedics

Specialists on the medical staff of Baylor Scott & White Roney Bone and Joint Institute work in tandem with the pediatric experts at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s to treat congenital and acquired bone-related disease. Our family-centered care approach ensures young patients, their parents and siblings are involved in and educated about a child’s treatment plan, particularly during a hospital stay. We provide care for:

  • Malignant and non-malignant tumors (such as Ewing’s sarcoma)
  • Bowed legs
  • Knock knees
  • Osteomyelitis (bone infection)
  • Scoliosis and musculoskeletal concerns related to cerebral palsy and spina bifida
  • Rickets disease due to lack of vitamin D
  • Traumatic and sports-related injuries
