Dr. Gregg is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and medical genetics and genomics, and he is committed to providing quality and compassionate care. His clinical interests include medically complicated pregnancies, higher-order pregnancy, obesity in obstetrics, cervical incompetence, preterm birth and ruptured membranes, genetic screening and fetal diagnosis. He understands pregnancies complicated by birth defects, and his genetics certification uniquely qualifies him to care for those pregnancies complicated by maternal or fetal genetic problems. Dr. Gregg held prior faculty appointments by the University of Iowa, Baylor College of Medicine (Houston) and the University of South Carolina. He was most recently Professor and Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine and the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Florida. He is Past-President of the Perinatal Research Society, an international organization with membership limited to those with past track record in research that impacts pregnancy and neonatal care. Dr. Gregg held prior research support through the National Institutes of Health. He is President-Elect of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. He has co-authored national policy statements on the topic of non-invasive prenatal screening and expanded prenatal carrier screening. In addition, Dr. Gregg was invited to speak before a congressional sub-committee seeking to learn more about prenatal genetic screening.
