This was my first interaction with Dr. Feeney since the retirement of my primary physician, it was just a routine check up nothing to change and so our actions were limited to routine questions. In the future we will have to see if his role as my primary care provider rises in status.

Dr. Feeney is great! I look forward to appointments with him. he's never rushed, listens carefully to what I have to say, and helps come up with a plan of action for me based on both my priorities and his concerns. he has a great manner with patients and offers very practical advice. Excellent doctor.

I told Dr.Feeney that I have this problem flare up at times and what works for me like antibiotics and what don't like the meds he ordered for me , I am stil coughing up now yellowish brown mucus and blowing it out my nose also and taken some breathing treatments to help a little and I also used the "PatientSpeak up " policy that didn't work he said my lungs sound good but I told him they didn't feel good and I got upset and told him that's why people don't like coming to the doctor because some of them don't listen and I walked out and might not be back .

He always listens, never pushes meds or procedures that I do not want. always answers my questions fully and NEVER talks down to me! that is the fastest way for me to leave a provider! I am very pro active in my care, well read and highly educated in my care, I do not appreciate when care givers treat me as a two year old! Dr. Fenney, treats me as an educated adult! Very, very pleased with him!

I hated going to doctors that made me feel stupid. finally I had to see doctor, no choice. I went to dr Feeney I was not uncomfortable to talk to him. to solve my problems I had to see him often at first but he didn't discourage me from following up with him. he referred me to other doctors to see if different treatment would work. these other doctors seemed to have a lot of respect for him . that made me happy to go to a doctor that really was trying to help with my problem and made it easy to work with him. smile

had side pains after being in the hospital. pain enough to make an appointment. this provider didn't ask to see the area where my pain is. didn't bother to see if it was swollen, bruised, nothing. we basically talked about my symptoms. he said nothing else he could do but give muscle relaxer. recommend that I take over the counter meds at a low dose. but the medications he mentioned I can't have because I take warfarin. sent in some prescriptions for me and sent me on my way.

Provider improved from previous appointment. He was more patient and took a bit more time. Needs to work on listening and hearing, not just presuming or, as most providers do, pay more attention to the computer. Pleasant, not strong on empathy.
