I plan to revisit Dr. O\'Shea for further inquiries regarding my condition. i\'m very hesitant to have the surgery he suggested until I am sure I have done my homework and asked all the right questions. I feel confident in his ability. I just need to be confident in my decision and that we have thoroughly investigated all of my options.

Dr. O\'Shea did not even perform a physical examination of my area of concern. I expressed to him the pain I was in and the history of prior efforts to alleviate the pain (therapy, injections). He said, "I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don\'t." He never examined me or ordered any tests. In fact, I never even got up from the chair next to his desk during our visit. He made no effort to determine what was causing my pain or to help me to alleviate my pain. Only after I asked for a referral to another doctor did he provide that. My visit with him was a complete waste of time and utter disappointment.
