Overview of Tendonitis
Tendons are strong cords of tissue that connect muscles to bones. Tendonitis is when a tendon is inflamed, causing swelling, pain and discomfort.
Tendonitis can be caused by strain, overuse, injuries or too much exercise. Your physician on the medical staff at Baylor Scott & White Health will work with you to determine the cause of your tendonitis and create a treatment plan.
