Our maternity benefits are here to support the well-being of you and your baby, as well as your finances. Adding to your family is a major milestone and we're proud to be part of it.

  • Understand leave

Mother-friendly workplace
Support for nursing mothers at every facility. Talk with your supervisor to discuss your needs prior to returning to work.
Break time
We provide time during the work day for mothers, up to one year after the child's birth
Private space
We provide mothers a private space, shielded from view and free from intrusion
Storage
We provide a designated refrigerator for breast milk storage
Amenities
We provide a comfortable chair, table/flat surface and access to a safe water source near each lactation space

  • Bundled maternity copay

    • SEQA/EQA Plan: $400 copay for all expenses related to maternity/delivery care and baby's postnatal services

    • PPO Plan: $1,200 copay for all expenses related to maternity/delivery and baby's postnatal services with a Tier 1 BSWQA Network provider
       

    Copay applies to the facility claim. All other services billed with a maternity/delivery diagnosis code will be paid at 100%, including well-baby charges and prenatal services

    Maternity case management

    Expectant moms covered by a BSW medical plan can enroll in the maternity case management program to access:

    • Support for high-risk conditions
    • Planning for delivery
    • Depression screening following delivery
    • Return to work planning
  • Classes for new parents

    Childbirth and parenthood are major life change. To help you prepare, we offer group pregnancy and childbirth classes as well as classes held specifically for mothers, fathers, siblings, grandparents and babysitters. Find an option that fits you, attend a class at a convenient location, or select an online class and begin at any time.​

  • Resources just for dads

    Explore the Fatherhood.gov site to find info for:

Additional benefits for your family

With Bright Horizons Back-Up Care TM you have access to five deeply discounted, high-quality backup care at a center or in your own home, for children and adults. Use it as coverage for:

  • School holidays
  • Half-days
  • When a dependent is mildly ill
  • And more!

Up to five (5) days of care

  • For $15/day: Center-based childcare for a single child

  • For $25/day: Center-based childcare for multiple children

  • For $6/hour: In-home care for children and/or adults
    • Either well and/or mildly ill
    • Maximum three (3) care recipients
    • With a 4-hour minimum

Bright Horizons gives you free access to Sittercity, a comprehensive database of care options for:

  • Housekeepers
  • Pet sitters
  • Baby sitters

You select care and pay for yourself. Receive basic background checks for free and request advanced background checks at discounted rates.
