Baylor Scott & White Foundations commit to raise awareness and philanthropic support for initiatives across BSWH so that patients and members have access to enhanced care and healthier communities.

Our foundations

Sell or donate PTO

Sell or donate your PTO during the annual campaign, typically held each fall. Payment and/or donation will be reflected on your November paycheck.

The annual limit for sell/donate is a combine 80 hours per year to split as you see fit. Sell all 80 hours, donate all 80 hours or anything in between.

Selling PTO hours

If you sell PTO, you will receive 90% of your hourly pay rate (due to IRS regulations) multiplied by the number of hours sold. The amount sold will be subject to applicable payroll taxes and is 401(k) eligible.

Donating PTO hours

You can donate to one of the four BSW Foundations, United Way or both. If you donate to a BSW Foundation, your gift will go to support the Employees 1st Emergency Assistance Fund. If you choose United Way, your funds will support areas of greatest need.

Volunteer

At the heart of our work is the dedication to serve faithfully—a value that also reflects in many employee’s personal lives. Volunteering personal time and skills for a charitable organization or event can be a meaningful way to continue giving back to the communities where we live and work.
