Cornelia Shyte Rhome, FNP

Cornelia Rhome, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner. Her professional interests include medical-surgery nursing, labor and delivery, geriatrics and case management.

Cornelia is passionate about providing person-centered care for her patients of all ages and being mindful of their individual needs. She finds it rewarding to work with her team to ensure patients receive the best care possible.  She has been a nurse for more than 20 years and a family nurse practitioner for five years. She worked with the military for over 15 years before coming to work for Baylor Scott & White Health.


She is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Nurses Association.

Outside of work, Cornelia enjoys spending time with family, playing Monopoly, vacationing in Lake Tahoe, reading and watching movies. She also likes volunteering at the local free clinic.
