Biography
Dr. Holly Beats was born and raised in Marilla, New York. She received her undergraduate degree with honors from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York in 2010. She received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from D’Youville in 2013. She also played volleyball and basketball for the D’Youville Sapartans. Dr. Beats worked as a contract therapist and then permanently joined the Baylor Scott & White therapy team in July 2018. Dr. Beats has particular interest in orthopedics and sports medicine, and specializes in dry needling, kinesiology taping, and cupping therapy. She also has special interest further her education to help treat patients with vertigo. Dr. Beats is certified in dry needling with Structure and Function Education. Dry needling can be used to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal pain and condiitions in conjunction with traditional therapy treatments. Outside of work Dr. Beats enjoys spending her free time outdoors, participating in events with her motorcycle club, Gypsy MC International, and visiting her family in New York.
