Irene H. Halmari, PA

Irene Halmari, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology, with a focus on hepatology. She is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making her patients feel heard and supported.


Irene has long been drawn to the field of gastroenterology and brings valuable experience from her work in community health clinics, where she provided primary care to some of the most vulnerable patient populations.

She is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, Irene enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, listening to music, doing house projects and knitting. A native of Finland, she loves to return there to visit whenever possible.
