Biography
Dr. Garcia specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of ankle and foot problems. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed residencies in Podiatric Orthopedics at Temple University Hospital and in Podiatric Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Garcia also has additional training in the fields of microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery. Dr. Garcia is board certified in Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Surgery by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP) and physician certified in Wound Care by the Council for Medical Education and Testing (CMET). He is a founding associate of the American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA). He also is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the Texas Podiatric Medical Association (TPMA) and the North Texas Latin American Physicians Association (NTLAPA). Dr. Garcia facilitates a patient experience that is comprehensive from start to finish. His office utilizes advanced technology, from digital tablets for ease of checking in to online portal access and advanced laser treatments. He is also fluent in both English and Spanish. In his free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys playing volleyball and being involved in canine rescue groups. He and his cherished pet, Bella, have provided a caring foster home for several rescue dogs over the years.
