Andrew Berggren, MD

Andrew Berggren, MD, FACC is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and believes in caring for patients with comprehensive, quality healthcare. Dr. Berggren's primary goal is to improve your quality of life, stabilize your condition and help you address the fundamental and root causes of your heart disease. He specializes in nuclear cardiology and his professional interests include general cardiology, echocardiography and congestive heart failure. Dr. Berggren has extensive training in diagnostic imaging and holds a certification from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He also served with the United States Air Force as a staff physician at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital where he held administrative appointments as Clinical Director of Internal Medicine, Chie of Internal Medicine, and Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Berggren sees patients at the Rowlett and Sunnyvale offices and accepts most insurance plans.
