Biography
Dr. Brian Mbah is a board-certified physician, specializing in non-surgical sports medicine. His professional interests include chronic musculoskeletal pain, orthobiologics and regenerative medicine. He also performs ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures to help treat pathologies and alleviate pain including steroid injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks and percutaneous tenotomy. Dr. Mbah is committed to helping his patients of all ages manage their non-operative acute, chronic sports and orthopedic-related injuries such as arthritis, tendinopathies, non-operative fracture care and concussions. He is a proud member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the Texas Orthopaedic Association and the American College of Emergency Physicians. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and playing sports (particularly basketball and football), working out and reading. He’s also passionate about youth mentorship and visiting different countries to learn about various cultures and cuisines. Baylor Scott & White Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Institute was nominated as a Best of Ellis County Finalist for Best Orthopedic Group for 2022.
