Biography
Dr. Kneten is a Family Medicine physician who has been practicing in Fort Worth for over 25 years. During his career he had many roles associated with healthcare. Currently he is the Medical Director of Population Health and Innovation for Baylor Scott and White’s Accountable Care Organization. Additionally, he served as the past chair of the Tarrant County Academy of Medicine, as well as HealthTexas Provider Network, and now as a Governor for the Baylor Scott and White Medical Group. He recently received his Master of Applied Science in Population Health from Johns Hopkins. In addition, he is a member of several state-wide collaboratives including Texas Health Service Authority Interoperability Collaborative and Texas Collaborative Center for Hepatocellular Cancer. When not working, Dr. Kneten loves reading, watching movies, hiking at state parks, and going to museums. He enjoys hanging out with his wife, his best friend of many years, and loves it when his adult ‘kids’ stop by the house. Dr. Kneten was recognized by Fort Worth Magazine as a Top Doctor for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. His clinic, Baylor Scott & White Signature Medicine – Fort Worth has been recognized by Press Ganey as a 2022 and 2023 Human Experience Pinnacle of Excellence Award® winner. This award is given to the top-performing organizations in each category on the basis of extraordinary achievement. The award recognizes clinics who have maintained consistently high levels of excellence over three years in patient experience, employee engagement, and clinical quality performance. Dr. Kneten has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (DABFM) for 24 years. He is committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement in the specialty of family medicine.
