Biography

Dr. Nii-Moi is a board-certified OB/GYN, born to Ghanaian parents in the United States. He went back to Ghana as a small child, where he grew up and went to boarding school in Takoradi. He came back to the US and did his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at Montclair State University. He then went on to medical school at Ross University in Dominica and did his residency in OB/GYN at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Nii-Moi worked in private practice for nine years in Chesapeake, VA, where he specialized in minimally invasive procedures. He was a leading robotics GYN surgeon in Virginia. From there, Dr. Nii- Moi moved to Texas, where he practiced in McAllen and Longview.


In 2017, Dr. Nii-Moi joined the SAF (a medical mission group in Ghana, West Africa), where he currently serves as the chief of OB/GYN services. He has led the team in performing numerous complex hysterectomies, myomectomies, C-sections and other OB/GYN cases. He is dedicated to giving back to the country where he grew up and providing quality women’s healthcare in the United States.
