She received her medical degree from the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy, School of General Medicine in ... Bucharest, Romania. She completed her residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY where she then stayed to complete her fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Popa's professional interests include general endocrinology, comprehensive diabetes management, and thyroid disorders. Dr. Popa is welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
