Biography
Dr. Chitnis specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and is a passionate advocate for women’s health. A native of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Dr. Chitnis returned home after completing her residency as Chief Resident at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine/Jefferson Health, in New Jersey. She is a member of several medical societies and provides evidence-based care. She won the “Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery” and the “Outstanding Resident Teacher Award.” Dr. Chitnis strives to establish long-term relationships with her patients, firmly believing that building a partnership through trust and communication is vital in providing holistic care to women of all ages. Dr. Chitnis enjoys spending time with her family. In her spare time, she tries different cuisines, travels and seeks outdoor adventures with her husband, daughter and Australian Shepherd.
