Jay Franklin, MD

Dr. Jay Franklin is a board-certified physician, specializing in cardiovascular disease, with a subspecialty in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. His professional interests include ablation of atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia and other arrhythmias; implantation of loop recorders, pacemakers, leadless pacemakers and extravascular and subcutaneous implantable defibrillators; lead extraction of implanted cardiovascular devices; left atrial appendage occlusion device implantation; and antiarrhythmic drug therapies.


Dr. Franklin is passionate about using the many tools and techniques available to help his adult patients with atrial fibrillation and alleviate their symptoms.

Dr. Franklin is a proud Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He is also a member of the North Texas Electrophysiology Society board of directors.

Outside of work, Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling with his wife and friends. He also likes sporting clays competitive shooting and woodworking.
