Julie Sharad Parekh, MD

Dr. Julie S. Parekh is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides general medical care for all adults age 18 and over. Her professional interests include diabetes care, women's health, and preventive medicine. Dr. Parekh earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio before completing an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Parekh is married and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She also enjoys Indian classical and folk dancing; classical music; playing the piano; world travel, especially to Europe; animal rights; Indian vegetarian cooking; old American movies (i.e., musicals and Hitchcock films); avid spectator interest in figure skating, gymnastics, tennis, and football; Young Jains of America (national religious youth organization). Dr. Parkeh is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
