Dr. Salazar employs an evidence-based approach to medicine, successfully managing chronic health conditions such as diabetes, insomnia, arthritis, and hypertension. She has a special interest in preventive medicine and geriatrics and is committed to providing exceptional care. Building trusting relationships is a cornerstone of Dr. Salazar’s compassionate approach to healthcare and her dedication to serving the community. Dr. Salazar was named Texas Monthly's Super Doctors Rising Star of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and completed training in the Stanford Faculty Development Course and Leadership Training. Dr. Salazar has been selected as a 2023 Super Doc by Texas Monthly magazine. The honor recognizes providers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
