Paul S Bhella, MD

Dr. Bhella is a board-certified specialist in general cardiology with expertise in valvular heart disease, heart failure, and the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease. Following his fellowship training in cardiology, Dr. Bhella completed two additional fellowships in advanced cardiac imaging and cardiovascular research. His research has led to over 30 published manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of cardiovascular physiology, heart failure and cardiac imaging. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bhella is a Professor of Medicine at Texas Christian University School of Medicine, where he was an inaugural faculty member and has taught patient safety and quality improvement since 2019. Dr. Bhella is married with four children. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in regular exercise, such as running, cycling and playing tennis.
