Biography
Sean Townsend, MD enjoys treating adults age 18 and older. Dr. Townsend is an advocate for robust physician-patient partnerships and focuses on preventative screening and education to promote sustainable health in addition to acute illness and chronic disease management. He holds special interests in nutrition, obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis, and sports medicine. Dr. Townsend obtained his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas before completing an internship and residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is an active member of medical societies such as the American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Townsend is married with three young daughters. He considers himself a cycling enthusiast and enjoys the outdoors by hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, and skiing.
