Shweta Sharma, MD

Dr. Shweta Sharma has been providing compassionate and personalized care to adult and geriatric patients for a decade.

She chose medicine as a career because she wanted to directly make a positive impact on people’s lives by helping them through illness and injury. Her guiding philosophy in treating patients is “health is wealth."


For Dr. Sharma, the most exciting part of being an internist is the opportunity to see a variety of cases, treating all types of health issues, which is both challenging and interesting. Internists play an important role in identifying health problems, making an initial diagnosis and formulating a treatment plan. Preventive care is a large part of medicine, and helps patients get diagnosed earlier in the disease process.

Outside of work, Dr. Sharma enjoys spending time with her family. She also loves traveling and finds gardening therapeutic.
