Srikala Meka Devabhaktuni, MD

Hello, I am Dr. Srikala Devabhaktuni. I am board certified in general cardiology along with echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. I joined the Baylor Scott and White health system in 2016 as a cardiovascular physician. I treat patients with variety of heart conditions. I also focus on healthy lifestyle changes and prevention of heart disease.

I have been fascinated by the field of cardiology since my years in medical school, where complex anatomy, physiology and pharmacology come together while taking care of patients. Cardiology is a rapidly evolving field and it excites me to be up to date and utilize the innovations with proven benefit.

I like to take care of patients by getting to know them well and treating them like my own family. I love to spend time with them to know their concerns in depth, so I could address them in detail and discuss the treatment options. I believe it is extremely important for patient and physicians to work as a team towards achieving common goal of good health. Ultimately, I would like to see my patients lead a happy and healthy life.
