Vasanth Sathiyakumar, MD, FACC, RPVI

Dr. Sathiyakumar is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and specializes in non-invasive cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. The scope of his clinical practice ranges from preventive cardiac care to critical cardiac care, involving the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac valvular disease and arrhythmias. Dr. Sathiyakumar’s expertise also includes cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and peripheral vascular ultrasound. He is extensively trained in these modalities and holds certifications from the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, the National Board of Echocardiography, and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, as well as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation certification.

In his spare time, Dr. Sathiyakumar enjoys running, basketball, and spending time with his wife, their son, and their golden retriever.
