as a mental health patient, I did not feel the doctor put my condition ahead of his pride. I followed up 3 days afterward with a message sent through MyChart, as was recommended, and have yet to receive a reply!

Originally it was going to take 4 months to see a provider & I asked to be on a wait list. I was fortunate that a cancellation occurred & I was able to see Dr Aycock in Sept instead of November.

I felt like Dr. Aycock was very dismissive. He kept watching the clock and dismissing any concerns I had, explaining them away by saying things like "all adults and parents get overwhelmed" and made me feel like I was wasting his time. It is hard enough to navigate the medical system, I was excited to finally discuss my concerns with a psychiatrist, and I left feeling worse than I did when I went in. If adult ADHD testing from a pediatricians office is a requirement, why didn\'t he send me that information prior to the appointment and save everyone some time? The wait time for a followup appointment is over 6 weeks..

Dr Aycock is always aware and attentive and up to date with my care. Keeps up with my meds and refills. Answers my questions understandingly and listens carefully to me. Takes things into consideration before changing or adding meds. he\'s very careful and explains well about all aspects of meds. I\'m very comfortable with him an will continue with him as long as possible .
