Our Neurology Residency Program at Baylor University Medical Center is committed to strong academic training, exceptional patient care, and a supportive, collaborative environment. We provide residents with hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, fostering both personal and professional growth.
Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), our program accepts four residents (4) per year.

Curriculum
Overview
Our program offers a unique balance of inpatient and outpatient experiences, providing residents with exposure to both clinical settings to ensure they become well-rounded neurologists. Residents will work alongside experienced faculty while rotating through various subspecialty clinics, including epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases. This comprehensive exposure to neurological conditions and treatment strategies prepares them for both general neurology and subspecialty practice.

We use the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to electronically accept residency applications, letters of recommendations, dean’s letters, transcripts and other credentials directly from your medical school.

Applications requirements
In addition to the application, please submit:
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE scores (Step 1 and 2 mandatory) or COMLEX scores (Level 1 and 2 mandatory)
- Three letters of recommendation
- Letter from the medical school dean
- Photograph
