David P. Lee, MD

Dr. David Lee is a board-certified gastroenterologist in Frisco who specializes in advanced interventional and therapeutic endoscopy. He has extensive experience treating a wide variety of GI conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett's esophagus, achalasia, Zenker's diverticulum, diseases of the pancreas and biliary system, and colon cancer screening.


With a passion for using the latest in endoscopic innovations to care for his patients, Dr. Lee has advanced training and experience performing a variety of endoscopic procedures. These include endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and endoscopic suturing.

During his career, Dr. Lee has published extensively in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has been a part of multiple national and international multicenter studies.

He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Foregut Society, Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, Foundation for Interventional & Therapeutic Endoscopy, Korean American Medical Association, and American Medical Association.

In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
