Biography

Anna Samuel, DNP, ACNP-BC, is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner, specializing in cardiovascular healthcare, with a subspecialty in cardiology, electrophysiology and vascular surgery. Her professional interests include cardiovascular disease prevention and management, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia and coronary and peripheral interventions.


Anna is a member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the Heart Rhythm Society, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners. She is also a proud associate of the American College of Cardiology. She has published two peer-reviewed articles: “Acute Myocardial Infarction From Embolized Left Ventricular Thrombus in Coronavirus Disease 2019” in The Journal for Nurse Practitioners and “Secure Messaging in the Workplace: A Quality Improvement Initiative” in The Journal of Informatics Nursing.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling and culinary experiments.
