Jennifer McGinnis, MSN, APRN, NNP-BC, is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience caring for newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and newborn nursery. She specializes in neonatology and is passionate about providing advanced, compassionate care for the tiniest patients during their most critical moments. Jennifer’s professional interests include nursing informatics and leveraging electronic health record tools to improve clinical workflows and enhance neonatal care. She is an active member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing informatics to further advance patient care. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling with her family.
