Biography

Bruce Mickey, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors, pituitary tumors, epilepsy and complex neurological disorders. He sees patients in Dallas, Texas, and brings decades of experience in advanced neurosurgical care to patients throughout North Texas.


Dr. Mickey has extensive expertise in the surgical management of brain tumors, pituitary tumors, epilepsy and other disorders affecting the brain and nervous system. His clinical interests include minimally invasive neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, pituitary tumor treatment and stereotactic radiosurgery, including the use of Gamma Knife® technology for the treatment of brain tumors and other intracranial conditions. He develops individualized treatment plans focused on achieving the best possible outcomes while prioritizing patient safety and quality of life.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Mickey has been recognized as a leader in academic neurosurgery, patient care and program development. After serving for many years on the faculty of UT Southwestern Medical Center, he joined Baylor Scott & White Neurosurgery and Spine Associates to help advance the future of neurosurgical care across the Baylor Scott & White Health system. He also serves as Medical Director for Neuroscience Program Development and Integration at Baylor University Medical Center, where he helps guide strategic growth and innovation in neuroscience services.

Dr. Mickey is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients and families navigate complex neurological conditions with confidence.
