Alex Charles Morrison, LPC

For Alex Morrison, a career in mental health care began through an unexpected calling. While serving as a children’s pastor and attending seminary, he initially planned to pursue a counseling emphasis as part of his ministry preparation. During his studies, he felt called to transition from children’s ministry into counseling ministry, which ultimately became the foundation of his work in mental health care.


He considers it a privilege to sit with people in the midst of their pain and walk alongside them as they navigate difficult seasons of life. His approach is grounded in a desire to provide compassionate care while helping individuals discover wisdom, hope, and restoration through a Christian perspective.

Alex is a Level 2 Certified Restoration Therapist and is currently pursuing certification as a Christian Sex Therapist. While his clinical interests are broad, he has a particular passion for working with children and adolescents, as well as individuals who have experienced trauma. He strives to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and equipped to move toward healing and growth.

Outside of his professional practice, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years and their five adult children. He also serves as the Pastor of Counseling at his church. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, good food, and card games. Above all, he values relationships and enjoys activities that provide opportunities to connect with and invest in others.
