Biography

Dr. John Squiers is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. His professional interests include minimally-invasive thoracic surgery, robotic surgical techniques, advanced endoscopy and the management of benign and malignant disorders of the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, and chest wall.


During his training, Dr. Squiers was awarded a Thoracic Surgical Robotic Fellowship through the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and the Douglas Mathisen Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery from the Thoracic Surgery Foundation, which supported additional training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr. Squiers is a proud member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He also holds a certificate in clinical research from Harvard Medical School and has written over 100 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, such as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, and The Annals of Thoracic Surgery.

Dr. Squiers is passionate about offering his expertise to help adult patients in his hometown community.
