Get directionsBaylor Scott & White Wound Care – Waxahachie is dedicated to preserving the function of the lower extremities and offering advanced wound care for patients with non-healing wounds. Our advanced treatments can benefit wounds that have not healed within two weeks or that have a complex presentation.
Our wound care physician, Philip Ramirez, MD, specializes in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, treating patients with a variety of complex wounds, including diabetic ulcers, arterial wounds, and radiation injuries among many others. He holds a special interest in using advanced wound healing techniques and therapies, as well as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, when necessary, to speed up healing and prevent complications, such as amputation.
