Our spiritual care program
At Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine, your spiritual well-being is an important part of the healing process. Our chaplains offer care for patients and families with diverse spiritual needs, focusing on interfaith care, trauma-informed support and cultural inclusivity.
Whether you need a listening ear or want to connect with resources for your faith, we’re here with compassionate care, including:
- A caring presence and support as you navigate uncertainty, worry or grief
- Prayers, blessings and spiritual rituals for people of all faiths
- Guidance on difficult decisions, including advance care planning
- Religious resources, such as devotionals, rosaries and religious texts
- Emotional support resources, such as cancer journals or adult coloring books
- Connection to community spiritual leaders or clergy from your faith tradition
A chaplain is available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays by calling 817.329.2520. You may also request a visit online. After hours and on weekends, call the hospital operator at 817.481.1588 to request additional support.
