The Taylor DAISY and Sunshine Award
The international DAISY Award program rewards extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day, and here at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Taylor, we are proud to be a DAISY Award Partner.
We recognize nurses who exemplify outstanding clinical care and compassion. Each DAISY Award Honoree is recognized at a public ceremony in her/his unit and receives a certificate, DAISY Award pin and hand-carved stone sculpture entitled A Healer's Touch. In addition to celebrating the recipient, his/her entire unit enjoys Cinnabon® cinnamon rolls.
The Sunshine Award acknowledges non-nursing employees at our Taylor location who demonstrate compassion and dedication to both their job and the patients they serve. These recipients go above and beyond the call of care and are recognized as role models.
