Dr. Anita Thapa, DNP, MPH, MEd, APRN, FNP-C, CHES, BC-ADM is a certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) reflecting her dedication and expertise in the specialty of diabetes care and education. Her professional interests include diabetes, thyroid disorders and osteoporosis. She is also a certified health education specialist with a background in health education and public health. Dr. Thapa is passionate about providing the best healthcare possible for her adult patients and helping them achieve their optimal health and wellness. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology , National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Global Nursing Excellence, American Nurses Association, Texas Nurse Practitioners and Texas DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice).
