Biography
Bridget Doerr Openlander, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse, specializing in family medicine. Her clinical focus includes cardiac health, hypertension, high cholesterol, weight management, and mental health. She is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Bridget is passionate about patient education by empowering individuals of all ages to take charge of their health through proper nutrition, physical activity, and healthy coping strategies to support mental well-being. She values building strong, ongoing relationships with her patients and their families to effectively manage chronic conditions and encourage long-term wellness. She is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, Bridget enjoys spending time with her husband and son, swimming laps, exploring Austin hiking trails, and discovering new restaurants.
